National Pool Lifeguard Qualification

Alchemy is pleased to offer the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification. We can help you run your own course at your facility (including registration of the facilities as an approved training centre with the RLSS - subject to assessment) or within one of our approved training partners sites.

The maximum number of participants is 12 individuals per trainer, although for large company bookings we can provide two trainers and offer the flexibility of 24 places.

We welcome individuals with learning disabilities and ensure we take all available steps to provide training materials to suit your needs.

It does cost less than you think to have on-site, bespoke training - contact us now for a personal package and quotation based on your requirements.

New Candidates

Every candidate, prior to commencement of a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) course, must:

Once a candidate has met these criteria, they may start their course of training. Training and assessment for the National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) is in two units.

Renewal Candidates

In circumstances where candidates have not completed 6 th edition training leading to competence at Unit 2, they will be required to complete all of Unit 2 in accordance with the 7 th edition criteria as part of their renewal course and as new Unit 2 Candidates.
