Incident Training
Alchemy offers a full range of incident and accident training packages
to suit your needs. We can simulate most minor and major first aid
emergencies that can happen within your environment and test your
emergency action procedures and team communications. This has proved
a valuable tool for many of our clients who have carried out both
announced and un-announced emergency simulations.
Realism in training is always an important factor, all our casualties
are trainers or assessors, or individuals who are fully trained
in supporting the injury they are portraying. Following the incident
we provide a full written account of the incident, how the participants
reacted, how the company emergency procedures worked and any remedial
action we would recommend. Upon request we can also video the incident
and provide a copy for your review or training.
For deep water work we are also equipped to use diving gear to
simulate a real drowning at the deepest part of your pool. Underwater
video has proved to be a valuable training tool, especially when
your team can watch the results within an hour of the exercise finishing.
Incidents we have conducted include;
- Body off the bottom (Simulated drowning)
- Stroke (paralysis) in a pool environment
- Amputated finger in a catering kitchen with additional dangers
/ hazards added
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
- Impact head injury / fall from height
- Dislocation of limbs
- Laceration / bleeding and embedded object
- Electric Shock
- Spinal injury both dry and wet areas
- Epilepsy with injury
- Diabetic emergency
Alchemy is also happy to demonstrate the Special Effects used
to create the realistic training scenarios.
