Continued Professional Development

Arguably CPD training is one of the most valuable tools any company can employ in keeping it's teams up to date with the latest releases and techniques. After all you send memo's each day, email important updates to procedures and refresh employees training on a month to month basis. While there is no specific requirement for you to provide intermediate training for First Aid Alchemy is able to offer a unique update package that can be delivered monthly, quarterly or 6 monthly to suit your company and team's needs. Two hours refresher training costs from as little as 35.00, offering you the chance to let your staff practice their CPR and First Aid skills, on premises with full tutor and equipment support.

  • Alchemy Tutor delivering 2 full hours of training
  • Ability to run multiple sessions within the allotted time allowing your teams to attend in shifts.
  • CPR updates in as little as 15 minutes
  • The latest approved techniques and releases delivered direct to your staff
  • Hand-outs and pictorial information to help re-enforce the session
  • Full availability of CPR Manikins, Training Resources and First Aid equipment

Pool Lifeguard CPD

The requirement of the RLSS Appointed NPLQ Qualification is that individuals attend 20 hours of Continued Professional Development over the 2 year period in order to stay current and updated. Only upon completion of these hours can they qualify for a re-take examination. Alchemy delivers over 40 hours of CPD training each month in the South East of England - offering valued updates and a discerning appraisal of the skills of individual lifeguards. We treat all our client's teams as our own, ensuring a personalised service for each individual Lifeguard. Using a unique system we provide detailed duplicate training appraisals for each individual session, showing the competency of each individual who has attended. In the last 4 years we have been able to re-qualify 100% of Lifeguards who have attended regular training, using independent Trainer Assessors. This keeps Client's bills low and does not require teams to spend time off-site attending a new 5 day course.

  • Alchemy RLSS Unit 1 & 2 Tutor delivering One, Two or Three hours of training
  • Equal split, Dry and Wet side sessions
  • CPR appraisal delivered every session both Dry and Wet side
  • Review of NOP and EAP within sessions to ensure a relevant and complete picture of company procedures
  • Emergency 1st Aid built-in as well as incident training
  • Client specified training sessions and training outcomes
  • Specific Spinal Management sessions and Aquatic Emergency Training
  • Unique company reporting systems ensure a complete and up-2-date overview of all training conducted

We are happy to deliver this as a regular set of session planned over 12 months or as a temporary measure. Upon request we will happily provide references from repeat clients who have been using our services for 3 or more years

"One of the things Ford Prefect had always found hardest to understand about humans was their habit of continuously stating and repeating the very very obvious, as in It's a nice day, or You're very tall, or Oh dear you seem to have fallen down a thirty-foot well, are you all right?"
